The Boca Raton Police Foundation (BRPF) was established in 2013 by community leaders to support the public safety mission of the Boca Raton Police Services Department. The Boca Raton Police Department has 216 officers and an annual budget of approximately $56 million. But with over 94% of its budget devoted to personnel, vehicles, equipment and buildings, BRPD has little financial flexibility in an era in which the threats facing our community are growing and becoming more complex.
The BRPF exists for one reason: to enhance the Police Department’s ability to acquire the newest and most up-to-date equipment and training to improve public safety, impact officer readiness, and enhance our quality of life. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that Boca Raton remains a safe city with a modern, up-to-date police force.
